End of the Trail

The knife ,on the trail map,could be a sharp knife like ridge. The only
other marked place, other than the X's along the trail, is the upside down U. If there was a continuous line under it, you would have a sunrise or sunset. But the way it is, means covered over.

Location

Assuming a stream running west at the top in the heart trail map
along with the mountains that are east to west and close to parallel
with the Salt River, the only place I see on a topo map is above
Tortilla Flats and to the east of Canyon Lake.
The stream that drains into the end of Canyon Lake ...

Bank Vault

Any thougths about the square top trail map? It doesn't seem
to have to have a stream that empties into the Salt river. And
the side with the dagger is missing.

Joe, Click full size below the picture. If you want it bigger,
Right Click the picture and click copy. (If the site will not let you
copy, then hold down alt key and hit print screen). :lol:

maps in safe

The maps in the safe are all different from the maps in the magazine.
They are different from any that have been shown anywhere on the
net that I know of.

Magill Letters

Is anyone else getting this for Magill Letters 1, "The file is damaged and
could not be repaired."
The good news 2,3,and 4 worked. Thanks Novice! I realy appreciate
getting to read the letters.
I read "Killer Mountains" a couple of weeks ago and it makes it seem more personal.

F and R

On Aol opening in the treasure store. picture 6of7 of one of the silver bars recovered from the Atocha by Mel Fisher has a F on one end and RDC (maybe) on the other end.
Reminded me of the top and bottom trail maps.
Anyone willing to tell what the F stands for?

They did not know, for a fact, that they were given the original Stone Maps. What they examined did come from the museum.
