"Be Careful of What You Do Before A Lie Becomes The Truth"
Mr. Ribaudo,
So much for separating the wheat from the chaff.
Coon Bluff, fried brain, seems like you have had a colorful day.
Not sure why you feel compelled to go down those trails. Seems like I remember you were trying to lay the Coon Bluff one on us. You know if you will just be honest then everything will be ok.
Perhaps it was the vapor lock you experienced on isogenic drift variance. Or was it N-8-P that pushed you over the edge.
Really Joe, how many gatekeepers do you need to help you?
Seems like distinguishing the message from the messenger is a skill set you lack.
Anyway since we have what is important to us I guess proof at this point in time is harmless.
The discussions of the last three years have led to Oz. That was their intent and that intent was realized. What you never seem to grasp was the advantage realized by indicating the existence of Oz while providing only clues.
The advantage is obvious it is not simple. It has everything to do with several groups looking for Oz and two cargo planes. It was a hoot sending them all over the range when the truth was always in plain view. Oz is in the NW portion of the range close to the Salt River.
Having said this we have decided to provide you a proof. Only seems the right thing to do. Sadly enough the proof we have in mind will make clear what has been lost not what might have been gained.
I believe the thunder gods will be proud.
If you ever make it to South Africa look us up. Lizzie is quite the cook beside being quite attractive and an outstanding singer. Many years ago a distant relative of hers sang in the Opera House in Virginia City, Nevada.
Your friend in Reno will be relocating to Wickenburg fairly soon. I am sure he would welcome the opportunity to discuss all of this with you. He is married to a wonderful Spanish lady. And knowing how you are into names you really should check out those artifacts who knows what name might pop out at you.
One thing about Gatekeepers Joe we care for our own. Never forget that.
Take Care and may all your trails be happy ones.

Friends In Wickenburg Places.......
Ben,
I will be happy to drop in on my "friend" when he gets to Wickenburg. They have a lot of antique stores there, and I like to browse through the book sections. If you will let me know when they get there, and who my "friend" is, it would help.
Thanks for your answers to my questions, as all is crystal clear now.
Take care,
Joe Ribaudo

Books
Joe,
I could be wrong, and I often am, but I am afraid many of those book stores in Wickenburg are gone or at least have moved, including those along the stretch in Congress, which is for all intents and purposes... gone. Mostly all new structures now.
There are of course, several cool places left in Prescott and in Cottonwood, where I recently found an astonishing old book on the Comstock Lode.
On the other hand, I would avoid the book store in east Quartzite, unless of course, you like naked men jumping out from behind displays, which I don't care for. I'd rather be bitten by a snake.
Your old pal,
Peanuts

My wife broke some bad news to me when I got in this evening that Bozo had died.....
Of course while Larry Harmon was Bozo and owned the patent, he wasn't the first or the best.....
I let her know my Bozo died in 1997 and he retired back in the early 80's
They just don't have anyone like good ole Ladmo or Bozo anymore, Do they?
Some good eats in Wickenburg and nice docents at the Caballeros museum.
I worked out at the dam by Quartzite in the mid eighties, I actually drove home each afternoon for 2 months after spending 2 nights there. The Navajo and Hopi reservations were like Hawaiin getaways compared to that place. Big waterfight tomorrow night in Prescott....gonna miss it this year.

Probably should have posted this here:
I have always said that John Chunning should have known the LDM if he ever laid eyes on it. It turned out not to be so.
Chunning's dig had no ore in it......of any value. It was not a "Pit" excavation. In all probability, it started out as an animal den, and Chunning simply dug it out.....and then some.
Mr. E. states that he and his "associates/family" have been "removing clues", which equates to deleating/changing history to me. Not the kind of work that anyone should boast of.
While they have been destroying, others have been creating false clues. Both are the endeavors of childish minds. The idea that they believe they have a right to do anything like that, in the Superstitions, is criminal.
The attempt to focus the interest of Dutch Hunters to the northwest portion of the Superstitions hints at the identity of Late's group. The lies that have been told, and are being told, about the LDM will not prevent the truth from becoming known.
I have read Late's posts, even what he deleated. One must wonder why he, or they went down such a convoluted path on this Forum. Was it just spinning a yarn to while away the boredom of a hum-drum life or has it all been done with a purpose?
"The e-mail in question was quite simple and to the point. If you review Late`s post in late 2005 you will see he continually referenced the issue in a hope that some one would step forward acknowledge their mistake and this wonderful history could be made public."
This has been manipulated from the first day that Late posted. If he had anything to offer, it was never going to be "made public". Those first words were false, and I assume the last ones will be the same.
Joe Ribaudo
Shortly after this post our friends over on Malaipi concluded they did in fact have the right location. Of course a few turtles helped. For the next six months they were like a bunch of termites working their way through wood.
All of this bought us time.
Enjoy the legend.
Wickenburg is a beautiful little place. Undestand they have a little creek there and the water is special.
Hello Mr. Zentull, Mr. Ribaudo, Randy
Perhaps you folks should come over for a barbeque once things are settled in Wickenburg. Wickenburg is close enough to the Superstitions so a garden can be cared for friends can be honored.
Take Care Gentlemen.

Ben,
"Not sure why you feel compelled to go down those trails. Seems like I remember you were trying to lay the Coon Bluff one on us. You know if you will just be honest then everything will be ok."
Coon Bluff has always been a waste of time, for anyone seeking a gold mine. The old timers knew that many years ago, and stuck to barite.
My own trip to that area was over thirty years ago with my cousin, Tom Ribaudo. Uncle Obie Stoker had told us of a few interesting places to visit before we packed into his Question Mark Mine.
Coon Bluff was not mentioned by name, but we were given directions on how to get into the area. Same thing applies to the old Spanish mine above Government Wells. He did not mention any names, just directions by distance and turns in the Highway. He was pretty good at that, as we found it with no trouble. Stopped his old Studabaker one time, and walked right up to the mine.
I would have no problem with making a trip to Wickenburg, just name the time and the place, along with a local phone number.
I don't recall having laid Coon Bluff on you. Can you quote me? My memory is not so good any more.
Believe my honesty is as good as anyone here.
Take care,
Joe Ribaudo

mr. klondike,
i have a question about an old friend...did you know chuck olsen?
some of the topics we discussed as teenagers sure seem to fit eldorado's posts?
thanks for the calm sanity you have provided in here. it is so nice to speak to someone who has no need to degrade people who do not share belief systems...

Hello Mr. Paws,
Can`t say that I remember that name.
Eldorado passed on recently and if I run across that name in his records I will let you know.
Just curious what did Eldorado and Chuck share outlooks on? Thanks.
I know when dad passed on I was stunned by some of the folks he was corresponding with in Arizona. Not anyone here. Think some of those people would sale their souls for a sniff of Oz.
Just for the record Eldorado, Late49er, Dog, Lizzie and myself are all different people. Late and Eldorado are no longer with us. We did and do have one person to post for us. That person is in Nevada and has been a gatekeeper for many, many years.
He was Dad`s best friend. He looks after a very special place for us in the mountains, and keeps a garden there alive and quite pretty.
Often wonder if folks spent more time looking for beauty in the Superstitions instead of gold what they might see.
Hope you and yours have a happy holiday. We are preparing for quite the church service here tomorrow. A homecoming.

' with beauty before me, so i walk...'
great subject...spiritual teaching is cultural specific...so the academics have written...
anyway...there are places on this earth, traditionalist medicine people use to access the scared realms... and others walk through without a hint...
go walk fish creek, he says....
yo soy Que yo soy...to those who hinder...
that gold belongs to the ancients...they'll be back...

Hello Mr. Paws,
Yes I would go walk fish creek. It is close to something very special. Of course there was a time when the Salt River flowed far deeper into those mountains.
Have to say I have wondered why folks don`t contemplate the existence of so many trails that go to no where and sites and walls that have no purpose from a different perspective.
That perspective would take you through a gate.
A gate to the past that will take you to the future.
But then everyone is given a truth that was meant for them. Every truth takes you somewhere. 7 truths take you to 7 places. The truth you are ready for.
Have a good day.

And of course there are the observatories.
Perhaps the most prominent on a mountain near the Salt River. A mountain not on any topo.
Sophisticated folks they must have been. They mined not just gold but a bushel basket of minerals in the Superstitions.
Remember one day finding a mercury mine deep in those mountains. Always wondered why even fool with it. Just to get to it was about impossible.

You can lead them to water but you cannot make them drink.
Late49er
In the very near vicinity of Circlestone observatory is purported to be, "The Lost Dutchman's Mine". Was a group from the Eastern Mediterranean or Europe undertaking mining operations in Arizona's Superstition Mountains? Was Circlestone Observatory set out so that the mining colony could always remember and teach astronomical/ navigational principles that would ensure safe passage back to their former homeland? The "very standard and expected" mathematical layout of the Circlestone site would suggest that this was the case.

The obligation to give each his own truth, and protect the sacred.
Those two gentlemen were extraordianary men what followed was not.

Hello Klondike...
I'm sorry to hear of your recent loss - meant to comment on it at the time but it slipped my mind by the time I posted again.
Circlestone is one of the places I plan to visit on my next trip in October. I may even pick an evening to camp out up there just to absorb the atmosphere. Seems like a very interesting and curious place.
Which two men were you referring to at the end of your post? Ely and Bark or ?

Ahh, you may be right. I was interpreting most of the statement as being a quote from an earlier post by Late49er. I believe now that I was mistaken and Klondike is indeed referring to Late49er and Martin Doutre.Paul,

The Holy
Hello Paul,
Thanks for the kind words.
A lot of loss in the last couple of years.
Your original intuition was the correct one.
Always thought it was a bit amusing to have a Gatekeeper beach the Holmes folks and send Julia to conjuring up devils and later have Julia and Rheiney be the wellspring of clues and of course the famous questions.
Any Notes or books written by Gatekeepers will send you to a truth, maybe not the truth but at least a good one. The irony of all of this is the important clues in the notes and book are still in the public versions.
What is important is what both men did. Eldorado Canyon, ( Boulder City), The time spent near the Salt River, and of course Horse Mesa. One might need to guess where that really is.
Barranca Grande. Hope I spelled that right.
Enjoy your trip to Circlestone. It is a well very important place. In fact in many ways it is the creation point of the Trail Maps. Take a moment to look from Circlestone west. Keep in mind Joe`s heart.
Certain things become apparent very quickly.
Only later was the data inscribed in the other.
Hello Mr. Ribaudo,
Not enough credit is given for your work on the Trail Maps. Consider taking the trail maps and laying a image of Circlestone beside them. You probably did that years ago.
What is obvious. Perhaps nothing perhaps everything.
Take Care,
Klondike

Hello Paul,
Yes it is fascinating what a picture can show and at the same time what it can conceal.
In that sence I guess it both exists as a truth and a falsehood all at the same time.
If you are interested in the math of circlestone Mr.Doutre has a fascinating article on Circlestone you may enjoy reading. Should be fairly accessable on the internet.
Believe he came from Nevada.
Anyway Dog suggested if you want to have a little fun take the heart insert place it in a layout of circlestone and see what lines up.
Might even point to something special.
Have a good day,
Have to help a friend with a garden. He is bordering it with 6 stone maps.

I read Mr. Doutre's article...
a few months ago after my spring trip to the Superstitions and reading Tom Kollenborn's book about Circlestone. I read it again a couple days ago after your reminder Klondike.
It's certainly interesting and thought provoking, however I find myself always questioning things when I read reports like these. I'm not particularly educated in the many investigations of places like the pyramids, Stonehenge, Aztec and Maya ruins etc... I know there has been a great deal of research into the mathematics of the constructions and what it could all mean.
I can't say that any of that interpretations are wrong at all, but I often find myself wondering how often the researchers are allowing themselves to be led by results they WANT to see rather than what's really there. Especially in regards to mathematics, one can "manipulate" the data to get whatever numbers are desired.
That said, I tend to believe that Circlestone is definitely more than just a casual pile of rocks set up to keep livestock in as some folks have believed. Mr. Doutre's article is enlightening and thought provoking - I can promise I'll be taking it with me on my visit to the site this fall.
How Circlestone does or does not relate to mining in the Superstitions, Native American history or "Oz," I have yet to come to a conclusion on. I'll definitely take your advice and take in the view west from the site and try to keep in mind Joe's "heart" site from his map.
Thanks
