Mystery Lights ??

In the "X marks the spot" topic the lights on Weavers Needle are mentioned. Back in the late 80's I was stopped one night on the Apache Trail road near the spot with the sign telling about Weavers Needle etc. Near the base of Superstition Mtn. I saw a light moving roughly West to East. I first thought it might be a hiker with a lantern but it seemed to be moving too fast for somebody on foot. It couldn't be a vehicle of any kind as it was higher up than the desert floor and I doubt there is a road on the side of the mountain. My question is has anyone seen or heard of unexplained lights in the Supes??

There are a number of helicopter flights, at night, around and in the Superstitions.

Joe: Maybe,but I heard nothing and saw only a white light,no navigation lights or strobes. Your guess is as good as mine though.
